Honoring Corporal Donald MacLean
The Department of Central Management Services has received notice from
Governor Quinn’s Office that all persons or entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act are to fly the flags at half-staff on behalf of:
Corporal Donald MacLean
United States Army
Korean War Veteran
Hometown: McHenry County, Illinois
Corporal MacLean was lost on December 2, 1950, near the Chosin Reservoir, North Korea. His remains were identified on May 22, 2013
Please immediately lower the United States flags and the State flags at all buildings occupied by your agency’s personnel until:
Sunset, Saturday, August 31, 2013
