CHICAGO– Governor Rod R. Blagojevich today awarded a $42,963 grant to the Village of Caseyville to offset costs related to construction of a new Village Hall. This is the final installment on a $500,000 grant for this project.
“As the center of activity for the Village of Caseyville, I’m pleased that the State of Illinois is able to assist in developing this new complex,” said Governor Blagojevich. “The new facility will benefit village employees and members of the public alike.”
“This new Village Hall is going to play an integral role in the daily life of the village and on behalf of the residents who will make use of this facility I want to thank the Governor for providing these funds,” said grant sponsor State Representative Thomas Holbrook.
