CHICAGO - Governor Rod R. Blagojevich today awarded $35,000 to the Village of Tower Lakes for renovations and an expansion of the Village Hall.
“We are pleased to be able to make these funds available for this work,” said Governor Blagojevich. “This project will make the village hall a place that operates more efficiently in meeting the needs of the people of Tower Lakes.”
The Village is creating additional office and storage space for both village services and for the police department. The additional storage space is needed for documents and record keeping.
“I want to thank Governor Blagojevich for providing these funds which will help Tower Lakes meet its administrative needs well into the future,” said State Representative Mark Beaubien, Jr., who sponsored the project.
