SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Mega passes for the 2007 Illinois State Fair are now available for purchase.
The passes, which allow fairgoers unlimited rides on the attractions in the Carnival Midway and Adventure Village, are good for Preview Night, Aug. 9, and the entire State Fair, which will be held Aug. 10-19. They cost only $50 until July 14, a great value for anyone who enjoys the many entertaining rides at the Illinois State Fair. After July 14, however, the price will increase to $60, so the time to act is now!
To purchase a mega pass, either call or stop by the Illinois State Fair Credentials Office. The office is located in the Emmerson Building on Main Street at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Business hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office also will be open Saturday, July 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The phone number there is 217-782-0775.
Visa, MasterCard, checks and cash are all accepted. The mega pass does not include entry to the fair, and does not include rides on the Tram, Sky Glide, or Giant Slide.
