CHICAGO - “We are disappointed by the court's latest ruling.  We feel the 183rd jets should remain in Springfield, for reasons of Homeland Security and economic significance.  This unit has an outstanding record of accomplishment with its highly skilled and qualified people.  We intend to appeal this ruling and are not giving up our fight to keep the jets here in Springfield.”
