SPRINGFIELD – More than 1,500 students are scheduled to visit Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) state parks for the third annual Earth Day in the Parks event.  Earth Day in the Parks is an initiative of the IDNR to introduce students to environmental stewardship. Unfortunately, due to significant rain fall, several parks have decided to postpone/reschedule their Earth Day in the Parks events.

The following list has been updated to reflect schedule changes. The dates in bold have been changed. Please call your local park with any questions about event scheduling.
