CHICAGO – November 25, 2009. Governor Pat Quinn today joined volunteers from the Greater Chicago Food Depository to distribute food for Thanksgiving meals to community residents.

“Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for the important people in our lives and spend a few minutes helping our neighbors,” said Governor Quinn.

Governor Quinn and volunteers from the food depository distributed approximately 700 turkeys and chickens for Thanksgiving meals at Saint Columbanus Church in Chicago.
