Mega Pass Is Your Ticket To Unlimited Rides At The Illinois State Fair

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The Illinois State Fair is offering fairgoers an opportunity to enjoy all the thrills of the carnival midway at a great price. Fairgoers wanting to experience the excitement of unlimited carnival rides can purchase a Mega Pass for a discounted price of $50.

The Mega Pass will available for $50 until Saturday, July 10.  After that date, the price will increase to $60.  The Mega Pass is good for unlimited rides in both Adventure Village and the Carnival Midway all ten days of the fair plus the Aug. 12 preview night. The pass does not include entry to the fair or rides on the Tram, Sky Glide and Giant Slide.
 
To purchase a pass, fairgoers should stop by the Emmerson Building, which is located on Main Street north of Ethnic Village.  The Emmerson Building is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  It also will be open Saturday, July 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., for last-minute sales of the discounted pass.
