Statement from Governor Quinn on the Resignation of Department of Corrections Director Randle

CHICAGO – September 2, 2010. Governor Pat Quinn today issued a statement regarding the resignation of Michael Randle as director of the Illinois Department of Corrections, who is leaving the state to pursue a new opportunity.

“I have accepted the resignation of Illinois Department of Corrections Director Michael Randle, effective September 17. I appreciate Director Randle’s dedicated service to the state of Illinois during these challenging times, and will name his replacement shortly.”
