Acting Secretary Bassi Issues Statement Recognizing National Childcare Provider Appreciation Day

Acting Secretary Gregory Bassi issued the following statement:

“Today the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) would like to recognize the exceptional men and women to whom parents across the nation entrust their children. Dedicated child care providers positively impact children every day through their love, support and guidance. . The importance of what these men and women do makes a significant difference in children’s lives and in their future contribution to society. IDHS is grateful for our continued partnership with child care providers across Illinois.”
