Governor Attends 2016 Illinois Criminal Patrol Conference

 DECATUR - Governor Bruce Rauner today addressed more than 200 of the best criminal interdiction police officers in the state at the 2016 Illinois Criminal Patrol Conference in Decatur. The conference is a four-day workshop for criminal interdiction police officers to receive extensive training on topics such as traffic stops, the use of K-9s, and courtroom testimony.

 
“Being a leader in law enforcement is selfless and your contributions to the communities you serve are immeasurable,” said Governor Rauner. “Your work for the state of Illinois is valued every single day. The people of Illinois are indebted to you because of the safety and the security you have provided us. The tremendous contributions of the tens of thousands good, hardworking law enforcement officers will not be forgotten in Illinois.”
