Notice to Proceed Memo
The Department of Central Management Services has received notice from
Governor Quinn’s Office that all persons or entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act are to fly the flags at half-staff in honor and remembrance of:
Major James E. Sizemore
United States Air Force
Vietnam War Veteran
Hometown: Lawrenceville, Illinois
On July 8, 1969 Major Sizemore was piloting an A-26 Invader on an armed reconnaissance mission when his aircraft crashed in Laos.
His remains were recently identified.
Please lower the United States flags and the State flags at all buildings occupied by your agency’s personnel from:
Sunrise, Saturday, 21, 2013 until
Sunset, Monday, September 23, 2013
